Hello, I’m Melody.

A curious human who loves to explore, connect and create.

An eternal optimist, world wanderer and playful creator who has recently landed in Amsterdam to embrace the Dutch way of life - building sustainably, thinking socially and biking in the rain. All but the last have worked out well so far.

A California native, I have been a fashion designer in New York, an entrepreneur in Beijing, and a researcher in London. I am interested in telling stories about the future to make an impact on the present, connecting people and businesses to foster innovation, and making the built environment friendly to all.

I created Offline Studios because I believe in an offline future where technology is used as a tool for connection not a replacement for human interaction. Here are some of the things I am currently contemplating - creativity in cities, the future of work, potential uses of AI, wellbeing in healthcare, innovation in education, circular economy.

When I am not working, I can generally be found doing yoga, dancing or making flower crowns. Please reach out and say hello, perhaps we will even meet in real life.
